Diesel exhaust and gases produced from diesel machinery during basement excavation project.

Challenge

The diesel machinery being used throughout the project was producing harmful diesel particulates and carbon monoxide, which can cause workers long-term health problems such as lung or bladder cancer.

Solution

RVT Group installed VENTEX equipment to provide forced ventilation into the basement area, ensuring an even spread of clean air throughout the area. Also, RAVEX Diesel Filter Kit HD90 were fixed onto the exhausts of plant machinery to capture and filter diesel fumes; removing approximately 99% of the particulate emissions.
