Case Study Overview

Dust exposure on a shotcrete mixing system was causing a major hazard on site to workers and others in the vicinity.

Challenge

The dust on site was exceeding the exposure limits, which needed to be contained to keep workers safe and ensure regulations were not being breached. The trade was closed down on site due to this issue and it was necessary for a rapid effective solution to ensure workers could get back on track.

Solution

To help this site keep their project on track and to ensure they were compliant, we installed the SOUNDEX Multi Purpose Enclosure paired up with the DUSTEX Raptor Pro. This combination of specialist hazard control equipment, ensured that the dust and noise was ‘captured, controlled and contained’ at the source, resulting in the hazard being eliminated and getting the project back on track.
