Product Details

The Ravex Exhaust Fume Extraction Kit is designed to capture and extract fumes from static plant such as generators, taking the engine emissions from restricted areas safely out into the atmosphere.

This unit features a heavy-duty steel centrifugal fan; this means that the airflow does not pass over the motor, making it safe for use with hot and potentially flammable fumes.

How is the unit installed?

The intake of the fan will connect over the exhaust pipe via a steel flexible 5m 100mm hose; a connection bracket will hold the hose a short distance from the exhaust to ensure fumes are captured without pulling air through the engine. The first 6m of outlet ducting incorporates a special high-temperature material; further lengths consist of lightweight exhaust duct.

The Ravex Exhaust Fume Extraction Kit is available in two sizes. For medium-to-large generators and machines, or where distances are in excess of 40m and up to 90m, the very high-pressure Ventex Centrifugal 300M should be used. For small-to-medium generators and machines, requiring extraction distances less than 40m, the Ventex Centrifugal 200P can be used.

Fumes from particularly large machines and/or over longer distances can be extracted using further bespoke configurations of the Ravex exhaust extraction system if required.
